Spring is in the air in the Indianapolis area and prom is rapidly approaching! The team at DeWeese Design Salon Inc. is nearly as excited as you are. Here are some fancy, on-trend hairstyles for you to consider for this year’s prom.
If you have been blessed with long, beautiful hair then a braided ponytail may be a great option. This style is very trendy right now and looks incredibly classy. To create this look, begin by separating your hair into three sections and French braid the middle one. Braid down to the point where the ponytail will start, and then sweep the other two sections into a low or high ponytail. Add a bow that matches your dress or use a texturizing spray to finish off the look.
When getting ready for prom, every detail matters. After you have selected your dress, the shoes and accessories become a little easier to pick. The accessories added to your updo can really make your entire look unique. Pin your hair up into a stylish updo and then add flowers, pearls, etc. There are so many possibilities with this choice.
A braided crown is a very sophisticated and regal look. Begin by pulling your hair to the front of your face and separate into three sections. Braid these three sections of hair along the crown of your head. When the braid is finished, use an elastic band to secure it and then pin it in place. The finishing touch is to add some simple flowers to the braid.
