3 Beauty Treatments to Do before Spring Break

Spring Break is right around the corner, and for many Americans, that means just one thing- heading to the beach! Everyone loves to take a break from school and cold weather and spend a week lounging on the beach and soaking in the sun. 1. Get a Haircut

Three or four days before your trip, schedule a haircut with one of our awesome stylists. A good trim will not only have your hair looking fresh, but it will also keep it in a healthy condition during your vacation. Your hair will likely be exposed to sun, sand, and chlorine during your trip, so taking care of it is important. You may even decide to try out a fun new style before your trip, and we love that for you!

2. Get Fresh Highlights

Highlights are a great way to brighten up your look without the commitment to a completely new hair color. Your hair color will look more vibrant overall if you use a lighter shade. Even if your hair was already a light color, this still works. For instance, a few strategically-placed strands of a lighter blonde, like butter blonde, can enhance a natural blonde while also adding dimension and light reflection.

3. Get a Spray Tan

Finally, once your hair is looking fresh and ready for the sunshine, don’t forget to get a spray tan and complete your look. You’ve been sitting inside all winter, so getting a spray tan will help you look healthy and ready for the beach. Your features will be more defined, your teeth will look whiter, and overall, you’ll just feel more confident strutting yourself along the beach. Just make sure to use proper sunscreen while on your trip. Just because your skin looks tan doesn’t mean you have a “good base layer.”
